After reading summaries the indictment is a pretty open and shut case and probably the worst handling of secret information in all of history.

There was an opportunity for the GOP candidates to unify and commit to the rule of law and by doing so jettison him but the party is full of cowards in fear of the Trump base, white supremacists, fascists and new civil war fanatics who are calling for violence and treason.

Already useful idiots and the worst people are calling for pardoning him. Pardoning Nixon was a mistake and pardoning anybody for this would solidify precendent that the POTUS can do anything illegal with no consequences. If there is any justice he will be going to jail.
