First non stay-cation in a long time. Took a week off to go to Maui. There was some additional bureaucracy in order to get here, but it’s worth it for the safety of all concerned. There have been some arrests recently as travelers have faked vax records to come here. They deserve to have the book thrown at them. Weather is so nice, and the pace of the island life is just much slower. I hope it re-energizes me as I am feeling burnt out with the pandemic, work, and the state of the US.
