This isn’t good news. Facebook’s non-binding advisory board described Trump’s indefinite suspension as “not appropriate,” and its members instructed Facebook to complete a six-month review to determine whether to restore the former president’s account. (from The Guardian).

They’re kicking the can down the road to soften the impact of allowing him back on the platform. He’s good for (Facebook’s) business if not good for democracy. Combined with the GOP fully transforming into a cult, there is a real possibility that America’s ever more wild oscillating pendulum swings back, and into full fascism in 2024.
