Back to Gas!
I’ve driven an EV for 5 years. In my case a 2018 Chevorlet Bolt which is a great car. The thing with EV’s though is they have no soul. The act of driving them is a cold and emotionless experience for me. So after 5 years I decided to go back to a gas car. I wanted something small, economical, sporty, with manual transmission, that is trackable. There are not many cars that match those criteria, but one manufacturer is stepping up to the plate. Toyota.

Figure 1: My GR86
I bought a GR86! This is such a fun car to drive. It has amazing handling and while not super fast is fast enough for public roads. Taking it to the track will be fun and with much lower running costs than a BMW or equivalent.
I’m also looking forward to modding it once I’ve driven it over the break in period and done a few track days with it stock.
